Event Recap: Insights and Networking at the CBA Law Conference 2023

Highlights from the Canadian Bar Association Immigration Law Conference 2023 took place in Ottawa, Ontario. It was an event filled with excitement and meaningful connections.

At our booth, Marianella Manzur, the Director of Sales & Marketing, welcomed attendees and discussed how our services could assist their clients in achieving their business objectives, ensuring we stay up to date with immigration changes in all our business plans. This included the opportunity to explore immigration business plans and discover how we work alongside our partners was worth every discussion.

The conference itself proved to be a must-attend event for anyone involved in immigration law. Over the course of two days, attendees learned from recognized lawyers, judges, and public employees at the forefront of immigration practice and policy. The conference program covered a wide range of topics, providing attendees with a solid understanding of current issues impacting immigration law and practice.

The agenda included dynamic Asked and Answered Hot Topics Roundtables, allowing for interactive discussions and the exploration of pressing issues. In-depth reviews of key Federal Court cases offered valuable insights into recent legal developments. Panels on the latest advancements in areas such as LMIAs, refugee law litigation, and POE applications also contributed to the comprehensive nature of the conference.

One of the highlights of the event was the streamed session featuring Sean Fraser, who spoke about the new policies in immigration. His presence brought a sense of importance and relevance to the conference, keeping attendees informed about the latest changes and updates in the field.

Real-life stories from immigrants on pro-bono cases were shared, reminding everyone of the human element behind immigration law. These stories served as a powerful reminder of the impact lawyers can have on the lives of individuals seeking a better future.

We want to extend a big thank you to the CBA for organizing such an amazing event. It provided an excellent platform for learning, networking, and building new partnerships.

To all the attendees who visited our booth, thank you! It was an absolute pleasure meeting you and discussing immigration business plans. We hope our conversations were helpful, and we look forward to continuing our relationships with you moving forward.
