Joorney Canada’s Year in Review: 2019 Program Statistics
At Joorney Canada, we’re passionate about business immigration and it shows. Although we offer a variety of business plans as well as other business planning services, 94% of our activity last year was related to Canadian business immigration.
Below is an exclusive peek into our programs and services rendered in 2019.

LMIA Owner/Operator Business Plans
More than a third of our 2019 demand came from Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) Owner/Operator business plans. LMIA Owner/Operator business plans are required for foreign business professionals who wish to either establish or purchase an existing business in Canada and be the primary operator of that business.
We take great pride that such a large number of immigration professionals and business-owner/operator-hopefuls trust us with this vital aspect of the immigration case.
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) Concepts & Business Plans
It is estimated that between 2019 and 2021 over 200,000 individuals will gain permanent residency in Canada through a Provincial Nominee Program. It is evident that the PNPs are highly popular programs and they are expected to continue to grow in popularity. It comes as no surprise that PNP business documents, including concepts and business plans, account for just over a quarter of our 2019 activity. We expect this number to grow even larger next year.
The PNP allows each province or territory to nominate individuals who are interested in immigrating to the country and settling in a specific province. Each province has its own version or versions of the PNP. Below is a complete breakout of our PNP activity by province.

The preference for the British Columbia and Ontario programs also comes as no surprise. Combined, they made up over three quarters (76%) of all our PNP work this year. Driving the attraction to these provinces are newly implemented programs. British Columbia’s Regional Pilot and Ontario’s Entrepreneur Stream, introduced in March 2019 and July 2019, respectively, are increasing the interest in these provinces specifically.
Intra-Company Transfers (ICT) Business Plans
Our third most popular service for 2019 was Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) business plans. These highly-technical business plans and business documents that we handle are essential, required components of the application process. The ICT is part of Canada’s International Mobility Program that allows international companies to temporarily transfer highly qualified foreign employees to their Canadian operations in order to improve their business, which is to the overall benefit of Canada.
This program can be rigorous in terms of proving the need for and the abilities of the foreign transferee. The trust placed in us by immigration lawyers, consultants, and international companies to handle these complex documents speaks volumes of our expertise, experience, and track record in this space.
