Webinar: Significant Benefit Work Permit Program (IMP C11) - The Basics and Complexities

Canada has an impressive array of business and investor immigration options. One of the many viable, yet lesser known, choices are the Significant Benefit work permit which falls under the International Mobility Program pursuant to the Labour Market Impact Assessment exemption code C11.

The program allows Entrepreneur/Self-Employed C11 individuals who want to open a business in Canada to obtain the legal status to do so. They must demonstrate that they will provide a significant social, cultural, or economic benefit to Canada.

The program allows workers to enter Canada without the often-required Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Changes last year made receiving a positive LMIA under the Owner Operator program more challenging for business owners and entrepreneurs.

Since Joorney Business Plans Canada is not an immigration consultant, lawyer, or advisor, we are delighted to bring in our special guest to dive deep into the program.

This month, we welcome our special guest and Canadian Immigration Lawyer, Nava Elmi, owner at Nava ELMI Immigration Law Firm. Join us as we learn from Nava Elmi about both the basics and intricacies of the Significant Benefit work permit option.
