BENJAMIN JARMON

Founder and CEO

Ben worked in the fast-paced, super-creative world of commodities trading, an environment that does not leave a spare second for second guessing choices. One day, he decided to leave it all. He gave up his visa and financial security to follow a dream. And he did it without second guessing. Ben knew he could use his experience in international trade and finance to help small- and medium-sized businesses, and while undergoing his own investor visa process, he discovered a purpose.

PAUL MONSON

Partner and Director of Sales

Paul manages a team of four US and international business development VPs. The team develops relationships with immigration attorneys and caters to clients’ business documentation needs. As a customer service mastermind, Paul makes sure that every partner and every customer that steps through the door gets sincere personalized attention.

All entrepreneurs and companies need consulting help at various points of the immigration process, and for many the most daunting part of the whole process involves the Business Plan. Ben completed his own business plan, found he had a knack for the task, and began offering his services to others. Soon thereafter, Joorney was born. With the help of his talented partner, Director of Sales Paul Monson, Ben’s new company began forming partnerships with hundreds of attorneys across the US.

 

Any major relocation is difficult enough without the requirement of a business plan that for many amounts to a nearly insurmountable obstacle. Ben and his small but growing team created a product and a process that took the mystery out of the business plan portion of the visa process. Clients and their attorneys felt well-served. After reviewing internal processes against customer feedback, Joorney moved beyond immigration business plans and began offering services to any entrepreneur or business that needed dedicated service and a clear written document illustrating the enterprise and plans for the future.

As VP of Business Development for the US market, Gerald’s passion is to help startups and small- and medium-sizes companies get the funding they need by supporting them with the right business plan. Gerald’s favorite part of the job is the discovery meeting where he learns about his clients’ companies and the funding they need.

 

Gerald has helped companies with SBA and bank loan business plans, investor business plans, investor presentations, and landlord presentations and raised over 50 million dollars.

As VP of Business Development for the Latin American market, Eliana brings her consulting background and experience to the service of Latin American investors coming the the United States through E2, L1, and EB5 visas.

 

Eliana has a tremendous amount of professional experience helping corporate clients in Latin America. Her fluency in Spanish and native fluency in Portuguese allow Eliana to assist clients from anywhere in Central and South America with her more than 15 years experience in B2B Business Development. With an education in marketing and real-world business experience, Eliana is an expert Latin American clients can count on for help getting into the US market. In her spare time, she enjoys staying with her family, playing music, and volunteering at her local Brazilian Church.

Matt brings 9 years of investment banking advisory and transactional experience to the Advisory team.  He has advised over 40 clients across different industries and geographies.  Matt is fluent in development project pre-feasibility and the lifecycle of transactions ranging from $10MM to $250MM and having led such transactions from valuation and deal structuring to distribution, capital raising and negotiation for a variety of corporations at different stages of their development.

He has worked with clients domiciled in many international locations including both North and South America, UK, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand, amongst others, and interfacing with different cultures.

 

Matt leads a team of 9 Analysts in the Advisory Division.
